Certified as the 3-star class in the 4th Nikkei "SDGs Management" Survey

SAKATA INX CORPORATION announces that it has been certified as the 3-star class in the 4th Nikkei "SDGs Management" Survey.

The Nikkei "SDGs Management" Survey has been conducted by Nikkei Inc. since 2019. It targets listed companies and influential privately-owned companies in Japan, and evaluates "SDGs management" of companies comprehensively from 4 perspectives - "SDGs strategy and economic value," "social value," "environmental value" and "governance." This survey recognizes progressive companies that link business management to SDGs, address social, economic and environmental issues through business activities and refine corporate value.

In our long-term strategic vision, "SAKATA INX VISION 2030," we set "strengthening our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) and sustainability efforts by emphasizing the global environment and local community" as an important strategy. There are 5 material issues - "maintain a sustainable global environment," "supply safe and secure products," "enhance R&D and technological capabilities," "enhance corporate governance and compliance" and "respect human rights and promote DE&I." To accomplish the goals in SDGs by 2030, SAKATA INX Group will take the initiative through our business activities to resolve societal issues in order to build a sustainable society by increasing the ratio of environmentally-friendly products, reducing green-house gas emissions and environmental burden in production, offering a sustainable work environment, enhancing corporate governance and risk management, etc.
