SAKATA INX CORPORATION (Yoshiaki Ueno, Representative Director, President & CEO) announces that it has earned B in both CDP Climate Change Report 2023 and CDP Water Security Report 2023.
CDP, a UK-based non-governmental organization (NGO), has rated response levels to environmental issues by utilizing results of questionnaires received from companies, local authorities and other bodies around the world which has disclosed environmental information. More than 23,000 companies, which is equivalent to two-thirds of the world's market capitalization, disclosed their information through CDP.
The organization has an eight-grade evaluation (A、A-、B、B-、C、C-、D、D-) for companies' environmental efforts, and a B, we have received this time, is the third highest. This was resulted from the expanded assessment of risks and opportunities related to climate change and water resources, including the implementation of disclosures based on the TCFD recommendations.
We will continue to promote realization of a sustainable society, enhancement of our corporate value and further sustainability initiatives throughout our group by disclosing information on climate change and natural capital appropriately.
