SAKATA INX CORPORATION announces that our company has been certified 3 stars in the "Smart Work Management" category and 3.5 stars in the "SDGs Management" category in the Nikkei Sustainability Comprehensive Survey sponsored by Nikkei Inc.
 

The Smart Work Management survey has been conducted by Nikkei Inc. since 2017, covering listed and leading unlisted companies nationwide, and is rated on a 5-star scale according to three factors: human resource utilization, human resource investment, and technology utilization.

The SDGs Management Survey has been conducted by Nikkei Inc.since 2019, covering listed and leading unlisted companies nationwide, and is rated on a 5-star scale according to four factors: SDGs strategic and economic value, social value, environmental value, and governance.

In our long-term strategic vision, "SAKATA INX VISION 2030," we lay out three strategic directions: strengthen ESG/sustainability efforts emphasizing the global environment and local community; expand printing inks / digital & specialty product businesses; meet new market challenges. Also, we set out five key issues: maintain a sustainable global environment; supply safe and secure products; enhance R&D and technology capabilities; enhance corporate governance and compliance; respect for human rights and promotion of DEIB.
To accomplish the goals in SDGs by 2030, our group will take the initiative through our business activities to resolve societal issues in order to build a sustainable society by increasing the ratio of environmentally-friendly products, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing the environmental impact of production activities, creating a comfortable work environment, and strengthening corporate governance and risk management.
