SAKATA INX CORPORATION (Representative Director, President & CEO: Kotaro Morita) and EARTH CORPORATION (President and Chief Executive Officer: Katsunori Kawabata) announces on October 1 that insect repellent coating agent has been jointly developed.
The change in environment due to global warming is gradually affecting insects' habitats and ecological system. The insect repellent agent that we announce started from research on the premise of various approaches toward coating method. Since then, we have focused from the angle of environmental hygiene and printing and coating evaluation method. After reviewing the effect of insect repellent and coating suitability, we have decided to make proposals to resolve issues by matching use scenes and consumption cycle.
By combining EARTH's long-lasting effective insect repellent and avoidance technology and SAKATA INX's printing and coating evaluation technology, we hereby announce that we have jointly developed an insect repellent coating agent with excellent effect, which is a product that is highly safe and has processing suitability.
This development product is a reference exhibit at TOKYO PACK 2018. SAKATA INX and EARTH will work together to put this product into practical use by 2020.
