Support Relief efforts following earthquakes in Noto Peninsula
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the earthquake that occurred on January 1, 2024 in Noto Peninsula.
SAKATA INX CORPORATION made a donation of 2 million Japanese yen through the Japanese Red Cross Society. We hope the affected areas make a swift recovery.

Support Relief efforts following earthquakes in Turkey and Syria
We would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the earthquake that occurred on February 6, 2023 in Turkey and Syria.
SAKATA INX CORPORATION made a donation of 3 million Japanese yen through the UNHCR (The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees). We hope the affected areas make a swift recovery.
Participation in beach cleanup activities "Zero Marine Debris Week" (Japan)
The SAKATA INX Group participates in the Japan Clean Ocean Material Alliance (CLOMA), which promotes initiatives aimed at combatting marine plastic pollution, and undertakes daily business activities in consideration of the environment.
In order to contribute to the achievement of one of the 17 goals of the SDGs, "Life Below Water," we participate in beach cleanup activities "Zero Mrine Debris Week" by the Ministry of the Environment and The Nippon Foundation.
In June 2023, 29 employees participated in beach cleaning activities in Hiratsuka City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and collected 65 bags' worth of food and daily necessities packages, plastic bottles, empty cans, and other trash.
And, in October 2023, 35 employees cleaned the beach in Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, and collected 45 bags' worth of trash.
Used book donation activities (Japan)
Participating in “Recycle Donation Kisha-Pon,” a fund-raising system for recycling and exchanging used books, DVDs, and other items for cash, employees in Japan, donated about 190 books in 2023 that they no longer needed.
The books donated by the employees were converted to cash, which was then donated to the Japan Environment Association.

Humanitarian support for Ukraine
We would like to express our deepest sympathies to all those affected by the situation occurring in various places in Ukraine.
SAKATA INX CORPORATION made a donation of 3 million Japanese yen through the UNHCR (The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees) in March 2022 to provide humanitarian support for those affected in Ukraine. We hope that the crisis in Ukraine ends as soon as possible.Participation in beach cleanup activities by the Kanagawa Coastal Environmental Foundation (Japan)
The SAKATA INX Group participates in the Japan Clean Ocean Material Alliance (CLOMA), which promotes initiatives aimed at combatting marine plastic pollution, and undertakes daily business activities in consideration of the environment.

We are contributing to the development and skill improvement of industrial human resources who will be responsible for the future of Indonesia through a system that allows them to acquire the skills necessary for employment through their achievements at company.
Fundraising to the field of medicine (India)
Through NGOs involved in local medical activities, we donated medicines and other supplies, provided support for building renovation costs, donated solar power panels to clinics for the poor, and computers to schools for underprivileged children.
And, we continue to support the purchase of prosthetic legs and orthotics through volunteer organizations.Accepting internships and donating to local governments (Maoming, China)
We accepted students from Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology for internships and held study sessions. We also donated to the Maoming City Narcotics Prevention Committee's youth drug prevention book purchase campaign, and donated supplies such as food for the Lunar New Year to low-income residents living near the factory.

Looking to deepen their ties with local residents during the month of Ramadan, staff distributed rice, oil and packs of snacks to local residents. Inks from our company were used on the packages of the products distributed, and we were able to increase our engagement through giving our products to local residents.

Every year, “The Japan Club of Kuala Lumpur” holds a charity bazaar. We made donations this year, too. We used our profits to support welfare facilities and groups.
