SAKATA INX Group
Company-wide Basic Health & Safety Policy

At SAKATA INX Group, we will promote our health & safety activities under our Human Rights Policy based on our belief that protecting the safety and physical and mental health of workers in all of our corporate activities is one of our most important management challenges.

Scope

This policy applies to all officers, corporate advisors and employees of the SAKATA INX Group (including quasi-employees such as non-regular staff, contract employees, part-time employees, temporary dispatch workers and fixed-term employees). We also require all business partners involved with our products and services (our business partners and suppliers) to understand and support this policy.

We have established seven principles for promoting our health & activities.

  • We shall observe laws, regulations and internal rules in relation to health & safety.
  • We shall seek to build a safe, comfortable workplace environment through labor-management cooperation, aiming for zero occupational accidents.
  • We shall seek to raise the awareness of all employees in relation to health & safety through health & safety training and internal awareness-raising activities.
  • We shall engage in effective communication, including the internal and external disclosure of health & safety information and the clarification and sharing of health & safety information with all employees. In particular, we shall encourage employees to report occupational accidents and illnesses and raise concerns about safety and health in the workplace, and work to create a workplace environment with high psychological stability where everyone can express their opinions.
  • We shall conduct regular risk assessments of equipment and operations and seek to eliminate and reduce physiological and psychological issues attributable to dangerous labor practices, the dangerous handling of equipment and instruments and hazardous substances.
  • We shall seek to enhance follow-up instructions given based on the results of health checkups and stress checks, aiming to ensure good physical and mental health.
  • We shall allocate management resources to health & safety initiatives as appropriate, and pursue the ongoing implementation of effective improvements.
