and Belonging (DEIB) Basic Policy

Under the corporate philosophy of "Mind within the Mind," our employees and the organization work to make innovations with respect to diverse personalities as we are a member of society. We hereby establish the "SAKATA INX Group DEIB Basic Policy" as the guideline for efforts to promote diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB).
The driving force of the organization is "people." Based on the fundamental view that it is important to accept and make use of the diverse cultures, norms, skills, experience, values, etc. of our unique employees all over the world and to create an environment where employees can actively participate and advance their careers whatever their circumstances, we consider the creation of new ideas and value through the maximization of employee potential to be the implementation of DEIB. To implement DEIB, it is important to have an environment where employees can feel a sense of belonging to an organization while at the same time being themselves. Through the implementation of DEIB, we will help organizations to grow, and improve the environment so that each employee can live their life with a sense of pride.
We have established five guiding principles for the implementation of DEIB.

1. Respect for diversified personalities

We understand and respect the difference of each employee. We also understand and respect the "personality" such as various skills, experiences, values, life stages, attributions, etc. of each employee.
We cherish the connection between employees, and will realize a working environment that individuals can perform at one's fullest potential.

2. Promoting active roles for diverse human resources

Regardless of various differences, reasons, etc. such as race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, nationality, home country, place of birth, family status, lifestyle, with or without physical disability, health situation, belief, etc., we will promote active roles for diverse human resources and foster organizational culture so that each employee can fairly display their ability to the full according to their situation.

3. Realize a flexible work style

We respect different living styles and situation of each employee. We provide various support for our employees to enrich their work and life, and to realize a diversified and flexible work style. Even if individual situation, restraint and others should occur, we promote work style reforms so that employees can continue to work.

4. Support career development and capacity building

We support career development and capacity building so that each employee can demonstrate their ability and personality.

5. Value autonomy and the challenging spirit

We value autonomy and the challenging spirit so that each employee can thrive. We aim to grow our employees and enhance our organization

In addition, this policy applies to all officers, corporate advisors and employees of the SAKATA INX Group (including quasi-employees such as non-regular staff, contract employees, part-time employees, temporary dispatch workers and fixed-term employees). We also require all business partners involved with our products and services (our business partners and suppliers) to understand and support this policy.
